Keep your foot exactly where you need it
The SIMNET A-PPS is a side support designed for the SIMNET SP Pro 2P and SP Pro 3P pedals, which helps to limit unwanted lateral foot movement. This allows you to keep your foot in the same position during heavy braking, precise throttle application or long races, and achieve more consistent pedaling.
It is not an electronic add-on or modification to the pedal itself. The A-PPS simply adds a side stop to the pedal plate that provides a clear reference point for the foot.
More stable foot position
When racing, your foot can gradually slide across the pedal surface during hard braking or rapid throttle application. This can lead to the need to reposition your foot and reduce the consistency of your inputs.
A-PPS limits this movement and helps keep your foot in the same position wheel after wheel. This is especially useful on long rides, when repeatability of every braking point and every movement of the accelerator pedal is important.
Adapting to your driving style
The side support can be adjusted to suit your sitting position, foot angle and preferred pedal position. The support doesn't have to grip your foot tightly - it's task is to create a natural side stop that you can rely on while riding.
The result is a more natural and stable foot contact with the pedal without restricting its normal movement.
The A-PPS is designed specifically for SIMNET SP Pro pedals and is compatible with both the two-pedal set SP Pro 2P and the three-pedal version SP Pro 3P.
You can choose the design depending on the amount of lateral support you need:
1× A-PPS
One side support for the side where you need more foot stabilization.
2× A-PPS
Pair of supports to create lateral guidance on both sides of the pedal.
Compatible with haptic motors
The design also includes a space-saving solution needed when using SIMNET haptic motors. The side rest can therefore also be used in the configuration of pedals equipped with haptic feedback.
A simple accessory with a practical effect
A-PPS does not change the characteristics of the pedal in any way. It does not change the spring resistance, the sensitivity of the Load Cell sensor, or the haptic settings. Its sole purpose is to improve the mechanical contact between the foot and the pedal.
If you're dealing with sliding your foot across the pedal surface while riding, this is a simple way to get a more stable and repeatable position without having to change the pedals themselves.
